Buff®, the original multifunctional headwear.
Once upon a time there was a keen off-road trials motorcyclist from Spain, who realized there was a need for a multifunctional garment that could be worn on and around his head while out riding in any and all conditions. Having worked in the textile industry for over 25 years manufacturing knitted collars and cuffs for the most popular football shirt brands in Europe, Juan Rojas set about creating a functional garment that could be worn in all manner of ways, replacing the need for separate items of head and neck wear.

Experimenting with different designs and processes, Juan eventually found a high performance microfiber that was breathable, moisture wicking and wind resistant. Juan then set about designing a proprietary knitting process that could manufacture his product in such a way as to ensure enduring comfort and durability. This manufacturing process, which takes place on a specially developed tubular loom, achieves a unique seamless construction resulting in a particularly comfortable garment that is extremely durable. The use of a sublimation printing process to transfer designs onto the product also ensures that the material retains its soft feel without the colors fading when either exposed to the elements or during cleaning. Juan called his product Buff® as a derivation of the Spanish word ‘bufanda’ meaning scarf.
Then, in 1998, Buff® entered a team into the Eco-Challenge adventure race and by the end of the event most of the participants had either requested or were wearing an Original Buff. Since then, Buff® headwear has become a standard accessory for all adventure racers and athletes.
Buff® headwear and has since become popular with millions of outdoor enthusiasts who benefit from its versatility: the garment has multiple uses and can be worn as a scarf, bandanna, headband, hat, facemask or wristband. Care Instructions
Your Buff headwear is made of pretty strong stuff, in fact it might possibly out last you. However, if you notice a strange aroma after a few months of use, all you need do is either wash by hand using any form of detergent or machine wash at any temperature and it will not stretch, shrink or run as Buff headwear is completely colorfast. When it comes to drying all you need do is run down the street with your Buff trailing behind and after a good hour on the run it should be dry or just hang it on the line because it will dry in minutes.

Polarfleece: Soft and tight synthetic fabric, with excellent warmth properties. Provides comfort and excellent thermal insulation with less weight than the lightest available wool.
Polartec 100: polartec 100 fleece fabric provides versatile thermoregulation that sustains lightweight, breathable and fast drying characteristics.
Polartec Thermal Pro: Fabric made using a new construction structure that enhances thermoregulating properties reducing weight and increase warmth retention.
Polartec High Loft: Soft and fluffy polar fleece knitted with low density fiber construction reducing weight by creating large air pockets that regulate warmth and airflow, providing the highest warmth to weigh ratio of any thermal fleece fabric available today.
100% Merino Wool: Natural and sustainable fabrics made with fine and soft non-itchy wool. They are breathable, draw sweat away from the skin and have excellent thermo regulation properties.
Knitted Polar Fleece: Polar fleece inner layer combined with a knitted outer layer providing a soft synthetic fabric with excellent warmth properties and a hand knit look.
Ketten: Tight knitted synthetic fabric made with polyester and elastane. Elastic and comfortable, provides warmth and windproof protection.
100% Cotton: Natural cellulose fiber, agreeable to touch textile with good durability and favorable breathable and thermic characteristics.
Thermo Fastwick: Warm and breathable synthetic fabric made to keep thermal insulation and draw sweat away from the skin.
Coolmax Extreme: Moves perspiration effectively, from the body and through the fabric. The good moisture management and fast drying capacity gives the thermoregulatory effect that helps keeping skin temperature low.
X-DCS_ Extra Dual Comfort System: a soft and durable fabric which provide warmth and comfort keeping the skin dry thanks to its hydrophilic effect that absorbs and expulses out perspiration.

Comfort Seams Technology: combination of process that allows creating threads-less unions and clean garment finishes providing and optimal product fit and preventing skin itchiness or irritation.
Reflective System: 3M Scotchlite reflective spots applied on the fabric. The product reflects light and becomes highly visible at night. The new system keeps the product soft and stretchy making it more comfortable for all activities.
Adjustable drawstring: Trimming system added to allow the product optimal comfort fit set up for headwear or neckwear.
Polygiene: Highly effective antimicrobial technology that uses natural silver salt in low concentration to inhibit the growth of microorganisms for odor control and fresh comfort.
Moisture Management: Sweat and moisture are transported through the fabric away from the skin. Provides comfort and helps keeping body temperature stable.
Odor resistant: Fabrics made with natural merino wool fibers that prevent the bacterial growth by wicking and cubing the stretch before in begins.
Dries quickly: Textile with high wicking properties. Transports sweat and humidity through the fabric making evaporation efficient and faster.
Windproof: Fabric with an outer layer designed to block the wind penetration keeping breathability and comfort.
100% Seamless: One-piece tubular fabric without any thread or sewn piece giving maximum skin comfort.

Adult size: Head diameter: 53/62 cm. size fitting most of adults
Women slim fit size: Head diameter: 50/55 cm. Fits tightly than the normal size. Specially designed for an optimal fitting in women's neck.
Child-junior size: Head diameter: 50/55 cm. Designed to fit most of boys and girls between 4 to 12 years old.
Baby size: Head diameter: 45/51 cm. Designed to fit most of babies up to 3 years old.
